“My daughters grew up in the business and understand everything from the customer service aspect, to construction of the garments, fabrication and more. When we have brides it’s like they are in our home and it’s very personal for them. This business is very close to their hearts. They are part of the history of very talented women in the family.”

I started working at Bridal 18 years ago! Mom purchased the bridal store when I started my freshman year in college and two years later I started working with her. I always thought I wanted to do something that associated with the hard of hearing/deaf world.. well because that’s my world. But the longer I worked with Francesca, the more it grabbed my attention and I stayed.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that we are a family business. My mom, sister and I all work so well together. We are able to bounce off of each other, support each other and create big dreams together. What I love most about the industry, is that there are no two brides alike. We help each bride fall in love with the most important dress of their life and it can’t get much better than that.

Francesca

When Francesca started modeling in 1974, fashion automatically became a passion and the most influential part of her life. But her experience started even before that; Francesca came from a long line of seamstresses and was taught by her European mother at a very young age. She learned the different concepts of fit, construction and the fabrication of dresses along with the understanding of tailoring.

After Francesca modeled for several years, she built her experience by working in prominent dress shops in Baltimore where quality counts and customer relationships come first. Before Francesca took ownership of Francesca’s Bridal, she previously managed two other bridal salons for a combination of ten years. In addition, Francesca has directed over thirty bridal shows.

In 2000, Francesca took ownership of a bridal salon, which has been flourishing and ever-growing for nineteen years. In the Fall of 2014 Francesca opened Francesca’s Atelier, an additional boutique catering to women in need of gowns or cocktail dresses for formal occasions. One year later, in the Fall of 2015 Francesca opened a second bridal salon at Green Spring Station. Francesca’s background in fashion, along with her knowledge and experience, are the foundations of her successful business. Francesca’s Bridal has received a number of awards and recognitions, and has been involved in many events over the years. Awards were given by Wedding Wire, The Knot and Enzoani, along with recognitions from Engaged Magazine!, My Day, Wedding 411 and many more. The salon has been a part of many events including shows at the Four Seasons, The Oaks at St.Michaels, Baltimore Country Club, Tremont Grand and Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
